Dr Bennett offers Obstetric care of both low and high risk pregnancies. High risk pregnancies include those with diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity, substance abuse, multiple gestations, and others. Dr Bennett works closely with several Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists, and will refer to them when necessary.
Dr Bennett takes care of most benign gynecologic complaints including routine annual examinations, contraceptive counselling, cervical cancer screening, breast cancer screening, STD evaluation and treatment, abnormal bleeding, pelvic pain, infertility, and others. Dr Bennett is also experienced in all forms of hysterectomy, including minimally invasive methods
Whether you are trying to get pregnant, trying to avoid pregnancy, or have completed your child bearing and are interested in permanent sterilization, Dr Bennett is here to answer your questions and help however he can. All methods of birth control are available, including long acting reversible contraceptives (LARCs) including the Nexplanon and Mirena and Paragard IUDS.

H. MATHER BENNET, MD, FACOG
Dr Bennett is originally from Dallas, Texas. He received his medical training at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX and his OB/Gyn residency was at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, TX. Following residency, Dr Bennett served in the Navy as an OB/Gyn at Naval Hospital, Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, NC. Dr Bennett has delivered more than 2,000 babies and has been Board Certified since 2010. He has been in Tullahoma since 2013, and previously worked at Tullahoma OB/Gyn Associates. He and his wife, Jennifer, have 2 sons and 2 Great Danes, Elvis and Memphis.
